CONSIDERING that the licensee wishes to use the name and logo of KPMG as well as other service marks owned by KPMG International and/or licensed by KPMG International in the areas of operation; CONSIDERING that KPMG International alone is entitled to grant the names KPMG, KPMG International and Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler, as well as the service marks referred to in Appendix A; i.e. trade marks and names which use one or more of the component names KLYNVELD, PEAT, MARWICK or GOERDELER, alone or as initials (i.e. KPMG) or in combination with other names or trade marks listed in Appendix A to this Decision (names and trade marks in summary referred to as service marks); KPMG`s online accounting research content is allowed based on the number of concurrent users allowed to log in simultaneously. An entity can register individual users who exceed the allowed number of concurrent users and limit simultaneous connections. A common problem that software companies face today is the application of heavy penalties for the use of unauthorized software. This can be due either to very complex licensing agreements or to the lack of adequate software management and delivery processes.
